Columbia, SC (October 23, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported near the University of South Carolina claimed one person’s life.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Blossom Street and Bull Street during the evening hours on October 21.
According to reports, 19-year-old Hudson Schirra of Lexington, South Carolina, was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking near the University of South Carolina overnight.
The Columbia Police Department responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, investigations are underway to determine what caused the accident.
