DeKalb Co., GA (March 13, 2024) – A 16-year-old lost their life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred early Tuesday morning, March 12. The DeKalb County Police Department was called to the scene of the accident at approximately 1:40 a.m.
Reports from the police show that an automobile accident occurred on Northcrest Road near Chamblee-Tucker Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately secured the road. A 16-year-old victim involved in the accident was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the injuries suffered in the crash. Two other people were injured. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the police department is investigating.
