DeKalb Co., GA (November 29, 2023) – A woman lost her life as a result of a car crash that occurred in DeKalb County. The incident was reported to the Georgia Highway Patrol at around 1:35 a.m. on November 26.
Reports from GHP show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Briarlake Road in the area of Silverstone Drive during the early morning hours. One vehicle involved in the crash came to rest off the roadway.
A 22-year-old woman was severely hurt in the crash. She was pronounced deceased on-site due to her injuries. A 21-year-old male driver was injured. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was admitted with life-threatening injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated by Georgia Highway Patrol troopers.
