Dunwoody, GA (December 7, 2023) – A man has died as a result of a fatal collision reported in the Dunwoody area early Wednesday morning. Calls for assistance were received by the Dunwoody Police Department and area firefighters at around 1:45 a.m. on December 6.
According to reports provided by authorities, a white Kia Sorrento was traveling westbound on Interstate 285 when it became involved in a collision. The force of the crash caused the vehicle to strike a guard rail near Chamblee Dunwoody Road. The vehicle was severely damaged due to the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and located one victim who was severely injured in the crash. The victim, who has not been identified to the public, was pronounced deceased on site. The Dunwoody Police Department is investigating the incident.
