Hall Co., GA (February 25, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that 30-year-old Charles Massey of Gainesville lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in South Hall County. The accident took place at around 5:00 p.m. on February 22.
Law enforcement reports indicate that Massey was riding a gray Honda VTX 1800 north along Poplar Springs Road when his vehicle collided with a Toyota Corolla. The incident prompted the closure of Poplar Springs Road and East Reed Road as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. The driver of the Toyota was treated for minor injuries at the scene. Massey sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on site. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
