Hilton Head Island, SC (February 28, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol identified the victim of Monday morning’s crash in Hilton Head Island as 45-year-old Jason Flack. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 7:00 a.m. on February 26.
According to official reports, Flack was struck by a vehicle while crossing Gumtree Road in the area near Squire Pope Road. The involved vehicle, identified as a white Toyota Camry, fled the scene of the accident. At approximately three p.m. on February 27, authorities confirmed that they located the vehicle involved. Authorities are currently investigating the accident.
