Jonesboro, GA (January 10, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Clayton County claimed one person’s life. The Clayton County Police Department was called to the scene of the accident on the morning of January 9.
Police reports indicate that a driver was traveling on Highway 54 in Jonesboro. For unknown reasons, a tree fell on top of their white sedan, crushing the windshield entirely. The driver of the vehicle was fatally injured as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Clayton County Police Department is investigating.
