Fatal Car Crashes in Georgia
Fatal crashes can be quite devastating. The unfortunate truth is that we see tens of thousands of people die annually as a result of fatal crashes in the United States. Here in our state, fatal collisions impact a significant number of families every year.
Dealing with the loss of a loved one can bring with it unimaginable challenges. Families often struggle to deal with the emotional and financial impact that fatal collisions bring. The loss of a loved one can result in tens of thousands of dollars in funeral costs and medical expenses. Families may also face the loss of companionship and the loss of services. After a loved one loses their life in a fatal crash, families have the ability to file a wrongful death claim.
In order to file a successful claim, it is imperative that you are able to demonstrate negligence. This involves showing that the defendant owed your loved one a duty of care, they breached it, the breach caused the fatal collision to occur, and you have suffered damages as a result of the fatal crash.
