Madison Co., NC (February 1, 2024) – A 17-year-old student from Madison High School lost their life as a result of an automobile accident that took place on Tuesday morning, January 29. The North Carolina Highway Patrol was notified of the collision at around 7:45 a.m.
According to official reports, an SUV was pulling out of a private driveway on North Carolina 213 during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a pickup truck. A 17-year-old was severely harmed in the accident, and one additional person suffered injuries in the crash. The 17-year-old was pronounced deceased while at the scene as a result of the injuries they suffered. The injured party was rushed to an area hospital, where they were admitted with serious injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
