McCormick Co., SC (November 21, 2023) – A fatal motorcycle accident reported in McCormick County on Saturday evening claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on November 18.
According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck attempted to make a left turn onto Whitetown Road from Upper Mill Road when it became involved in a crash with a 1998 Suzuki motorcycle. The motorcyclist was severely hurt in the crash. Authorities pronounced the victim deceased due to their injuries. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
