Pickens Co., SC (March 12, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Sunday evening claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported to law enforcement at approximately 7:45 p.m. on March 10.
According to official reports, an automobile collision occurred on Childress Road near the intersection of Old Dacusville Road. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles, a pickup truck, to go off the right side of the roadway and strike a covert before colliding with a mailbox. The vehicle reentered the roadway, went off the left side, and collided with two trees. One person was killed in the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident is being investigated.
