Raleigh, NC (October 24, 2023) – One person sustained fatal injuries as a result of an accident that took place near the North Carolina State University main campus on Tuesday, October 24.
The accident was reported by officials at around 3:00 p.m.
According to police reports, a total of four vehicles, including a white sedan, collided on Western Boulevard near Don Allen Drive. The incident blocked several eastbound lanes of the roadway near the college campus.
One person involved in the crash sustained fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased. An unknown number of people were injured as a result of the crash. Authorities confirmed that the deceased victim was not a student at the college.
Investigations are currently underway by the Raleigh Police Department.
