Savannah, GA (December 1, 2023) – A fatal accident was reported on Saturday in the Savannah area that claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported to law enforcement at around 6:30 p.m. on November 25.
According to official reports, a pedestrian was walking on Abercorn Street during the evening hours. As they passed through the area near White Bluff Road at the Olgethorpe Mall, they were struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was severely hurt in the crash. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle attempted to flee the scene of the crash when they struck another vehicle. The incident is currently being investigated.
