Statesboro, GA (February 10, 2024) – The Georgia State Patrol confirmed that a man and woman lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Statesboro area on Monday morning, February 5. The incident was reported to law enforcement at approximately 11:25 a.m.
According to official reports, a vehicle collision took place on the southbound side of US Highway 25. As a result of the crash, a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck went off the side of the roadway near Georgia Highway 67. The vehicle collided with a power pole before rolling over multiple times. A man and woman were both ejected from the vehicle. Both victims were severely harmed as a result of the incident and pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
