Winton-Salem, NC (February 26, 2024) – One person has lost their life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Friday evening in Winston-Salem. The accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on February 23.
According to reports from the Winston-Salem Police Department, a moped crash occurred on North Liberty Street at the intersection of Akron Drive. Preliminary investigations show that a moped and a 2009 Infiniti collided at the intersection during the evening hours. The driver of the moped, identified as 39-year-old Prentice Rayshawn McMillian, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
