Atlanta, GA (December 15, 2023) – The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that 76-year-old Rosa Moore lost her life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the Atlanta area. Cobb County officials were notified of the crash at around 650 p.m. on December 13.
At crash reports indicate that Moore was walking across South Gordon Road during the evening hours when she was struck by a blue Honda Civic. The 27-year-old driver of the Honda stopped her vehicle at a Shell gas station in the area. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the pedestrian with severe injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Cobb County medical examiner. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
