Dorchester Co., SC (May 20, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Dorchester County claimed one person’s life. The incident was reported to officials at around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
Official reports show that a 2007 Ford sedan was traveling on Ashley Phosphate Road during the evening hours. At the same time, a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on the same roadway. As the Ford sedan attempted to turn at the intersection of Dorchester Manner Boulevard, it collided with the motorcycle. The motorcycle then struck a 2017 Lexus SUV. The motorcyclist, identified as 58-year-old William Faulling, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
