Madison Co., GA (June 1, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Madison County on Tuesday evening claimed the lives of three people. The accident took place at around 7:10 p.m. on May 28.
Reports from the Georgia State Patrol indicate that 22-year-old Moo Thaw was driving in the area of Georgia Highway 172 and Medica Drive in Comer when he failed to yield the right-of-way to a Ford pickup truck. As a result, Thaw’s Toyota Camry collided with the pickup truck. Three people involved in the accident were fatally injured. The victims were identified as 19-year-old Saw Ah, 19-year-old Thai Htoo, and 25-year-old Gler Taw. Thaw was subsequently arrested on a homicide charge related to this accident. At this time, investigations into the accident are ongoing.
