Orangeburg, SC (December 22, 2023) – Three people have died as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the Orangeburg area on Tuesday evening, December 19. The crash was reported to the South Carolina Highway Patrol just after 6:00 p.m.
According to official reports, a 2014 tractor-trailer was heading westbound on Cross Creek Drive. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of US Highway 301, it collided with a 2002 Ford Mustang. Three people in the Ford were all fatally injured. All three victims were pronounced deceased by the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office. No one inside the semi-truck was injured. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
