Raleigh, NC (February 19, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Raleigh area on Friday evening claimed one person’s life. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 9:40 p.m. on February 16.
Reports from the Raleigh Police Department show that a pedestrian was struck by a train in the area near South Blount Street in Hoke and Street. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim ended up passing away as a result of their injuries. Investigations surrounding the crash are underway by the Raleigh Police Department.
