Seneca, SC (April 30, 2024) – A 73-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Oconee County. The incident was reported on April 29.
According to official reports, just after 11:00 a.m., an automobile accident occurred at the intersection of South Carolina Highway 183 and Wolf Steak Church Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately shut down the roadway. Further investigations determined that a 2019 Honda SUV collided with a 2017 Ford sedan near the intersection. The driver of the Ford, identified as Mildred Towe Kelley, sustained fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
