Travelers Rest, SC (January 31, 2024) – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 55-year-old Debra Jean Datko lost her life as a result of a fatal truck crash that occurred in Travelers rest on Tuesday, January 30.

According to reports provided by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a box truck collided with an 18-wheeler on Highway 25 in the area near State Park Road. One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries. The victim, identified as Datko, was pronounced deceased at the scene due to her injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
