Aiken, SC (December 22, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Aiken County claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman. The accident took place at around 1:10 a.m. on December 16.
According to official reports, a collision involving a 2019 Dodge and a 2002 Nissan occurred on Wagener Road in the area near East Pine Log Road. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway for an extended period. One person involved in the accident, identified as Khadijah Jackson, was seriously injured in the crash. She was transported to WellStar MCG Health for emergency medical care. Authorities confirmed that she passed away on December 19 from her injuries. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
