Charleston Co., SC (October 31, 2023) – A vehicle collision reported on Sunday claimed one person’s life. At around 9:35 p.m. on October 29, emergency officials were called to the site of a crash on Interstate 29.
According to official reports, three vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the interstate during the evening hours. All three vehicles were traveling on the eastbound side of the roadway when a motorcycle and Honda were struck by a Nissan. The incident prompted officials to close the roadway near mile marker 208.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured in the crash. The Charleston County coroner’s office responded to the scene to declare the victim deceased.
One person in the Honda suffered injuries and was hospitalized.
The crash is being investigated at this time.
