Chatham Co., GA (December 10, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a fatal collision that took place on Thursday in Chatham County. On December 8, authorities were called to the scene of an automobile collision on Ogeechee Road.

According to official reports, a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided on the roadway, causing severe disruptions in traffic throughout the area. The incident prompted the Georgia State Patrol to shut down the roadway as they provided assistance in removing the damaged vehicles.

Preliminary crash reports indicate that the truck was traveling north on Georgia Highway 25 when he became involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer that backed out of a driveway and onto the roadway.
