Cleveland, GA (November 28, 2023) – The Georgia Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday afternoon that claimed one person’s life. The crash occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on November 27.
According to local law enforcement, three vehicles collided on Georgia State Route 115 in the area near Asbury Mill Road. The incident involved a tractor-trailer, a 2021 Toyota Rav4, and a Toyota Highlander. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the tractor-trailer and both of the passenger vehicles blocking the roadway. The tractor-trailer jackknifed, and the RAV4 overturned.
The driver of the RAV4 had to be extricated from their vehicle. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Andrew Clark, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
