Edgefield, SC (December 16, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a fatal collision reported in the Edgefield area on Friday, December 15. The accident prompted the response of the South Carolina Highway Patrol and multiple first responders.
According to official reports, just before midnight, a collision took place on Woodlawn Road. Investigations indicate that a vehicle collision took place on the roadway, resulting in one of the vehicles catching on fire. One person inside of the vehicle was severely hurt. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
