Iredell Co., NC (February 19, 2024) – The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that 34-year-old Justin Devon Wilson lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening in Iredell County.
At approximately 4:45 p.m. on February 17, a 2004 Subaru Forrester was heading down Interstate 40 West when it collided with a 2022 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck near mile marker 156. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately secured the road. The driver of the Subaru, identified as Wilson, was pronounced deceased on site as a result of the injuries he suffered. Three juvenile victims involved in the accident were injured. The three victims were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Winston-Salem for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
